Bellingham suffered a partial dislocation of his left shoulder in Madrid's La Liga contest with Rayo in early November. Although he was named among the substitutes for Los Blancos' following fixture — a win over Braga in the Champions League — he didn't appear against Valencia.

WHAT CARLO ANCELOTTI SAID
In a press conference following his side's win over Valencia on Saturday, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was adamant that his star man couldn't play for England this international break: "He'll be assessed [by England]. If he didn't play today, he can't play with the national team. He'll do specific work on his shoulder. After the break he can play again."
